About Lisa

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is my passion. With 10 years of experience as a certified teacher, I specialize in making Math, English, and Science accessible and exciting. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my approach--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or real-world examples--to ensure concepts click. I break complex problems into manageable steps and celebrate every small success along the way. Open communication with you and your family is essential to our collaborative success. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or a local coffee shop, I am committed to creating a patient, engaging environment where you feel supported. Seeing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill is why I love what I do. I look forward to growing with you.
