Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the cornerstone of my 10-year career as a reading tutor and Certified teacher. I specialize in early intervention and elementary literacy skills in phonemic awareness, phonics, sight word recognition for reading fluency. I have experience teaching computer and study skills. By observing a student with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, discussions, and hands-on activities to match their unique learning style. I keep students engaged by connecting complex concepts to their personal interests and celebrating every milestone to build their confidence. Clear communication with families is a priority, as I believe consistent updates are vital for long-term success. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student finally grasps a difficult concept.
