About Lisa

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, loving, and encouraging. I like working with kids because they are generally happy and carefree and looking for adults who are supportive and willing to guide them to be kind, caring individuals. I'm looking for a job that will bring me joy and challenge me and let me go home at the end of every workday feeling as though I've been a positive part of a young person's life. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I did at home child care for 12 years while my girls were growing up. I was a preschool teacher when covid hit. I then watched 4 of my students at home. I spent 1 school year working as a paraeducator for a kindergarten teacher who is blind. I have spent the past four years working as a nanny. In my spare time, I spend time with family. I love taking classes at Pure Barre, reading, the beach, and Disneyland with my daughter and grandson. I love working with kids and building a bond with the child(ren) and the family.
