I'd describe my personality as clever, curious and happy. I like caring for adults because I know I am needed. I am looking for a side job that helps an adult stay independent. I started caring for adults when I was in college. I have 20+ years experience. I am a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist, mental health technician II, nursing assistant and Safety-Care specialist; American Caregiver Association affiliate and American Heart Association BLS/CPR provider. In-home caregiving is my biggest career passion. In my spare time, I like to take care of myself. I need to be the best possible me. That requires time and focus outside of work. One thing you should know about me is that I show up. This website/app connected me to a client 4 years ago. I am still consistently employed by said client. My skills include complex medical care, strategies to facilitate successful outcomes, and detailed communication. Rate negotiable.
