I have decades of experience with kids, as a teacher, a homeschool mom of 4, and now as a grandma. Currently I'm really enjoying babies. I am a "crunchy" grandma, who cares about toxic-free living and helping kids thrive naturally. But I support parents and the choices they make for their families, and will not only be respectful of your family's values, but will help you implement them in your child's daily life. As your caregiver, I will be actively present with your child, NOT wanting to watch TV or be on my phone. I am glad to be useful with light tasks around the house and kitchen while children are asleep; but please don't ask me to cook a full dinner. I'm reliable, trustworthy, experienced, and no-nonsense. I'm also patient and kind. I could be the ideal caregiver for your family. I'm a teacher, so can be available 8-5 this summer but will have reduced hours during the school year. (There's flexibility-let's discuss options!) I can begin June 1.
