Before relocating, I worked as a social studies and special education teacher for two major school districts. I also spent over 15 years in child development centers as a lead infant, toddler, and preschool teacher, and I have 20+ years of babysitting and pet-sitting experience. I am certified in First Aid, CPR/AED, and Stop the Bleed. Caring for children is truly my calling. I meet each child where they are and take time to understand how they learn best. Every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued, and I strive to create a safe, encouraging environment where they can grow with confidence and curiosity. Lisa cared for our daughter M. during an especially important season for our family. Our daughter has special medical needs (cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus), and Lisa cared for her with such kindness, patience, and attentiveness. It gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing M. was with someone so capable and genuinely compassionate. Lisa’s experience with children is obvious in the calm confidence and professionalism she brings, but what stood out most to us was the genuine care she showed our daughter. We are so grateful for the time she spent with our family and were truly sad that a change in our circumstances meant we couldn’t continue regular care.
