About Lisa

I worked at a preschool when my two sons were 3 and almost 5, which was very rewarding. I was an assistant teacher to a pre-K class and the kindergarten PE teacher. One little girl in my pre-K class had no focus and acted up during class time. As the year passed, it seemed like she had become another little girl. She was such a joy to work with from start to finish. It was a matter of redirecting and loving her through all of it. I know you're not supposed to have a pet student, but between you and me, she was mine. I also taught swim lessons at a facility in Kennesaw, Georgia, and loved doing it. We had a set way to teach, and it was very structured, but I was also very nurturing at the same time. I had one little boy to shoot up out of the water and say, I can swim, with water running down into his eyes and on his face! To say the least, that was a gratifying job as well. I had students who were pre-K and up, and even one adult.
