About Lisa

I was inspired to work with the elderly community because I feel it is such an important time in a person's life to be honored, respected and well cared for. My first opportunity to work in the geriatric field was during the time I was living in Portland, Oregon. I worked in a memory care unit as a caregiver, and then as an activities assistant in the same building. I continued my work after my move to Pittsburgh working as an activities assistant in a nursing home. After this, I decided to transition into in home care and worked to help a wonderful family for the past two years. Most of my experience is with helping individuals with dementia. I have learned so much over these years from not only those I was working together with, but also from the individuals who I was caring for. There are no words for the gratitude I feel to have had this incredible privilege, and I really enjoy it from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for considering me to help you and/or your loved one!
