About Lionara

I have several years of experience working with both children and elderly individuals, always prioritizing respect, safety, and the emotional well-being of each person. My most recent position was at a nursing home in Arlington, where I worked for three years providing direct care to elderly residents, particularly individuals living with dementia. During this period, I developed and implemented occupational activities focused on cognitive stimulation, motor coordination, socialization, and quality of life. I have a strong ability to build meaningful connections, identify individual needs, and adapt activities according to each person's cognitive stage. My work has always been guided by compassionate care, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility to ensure both physical and emotional safety. I also provide my own activity materials, such as art supplies, painting, games, and outdoor activities when appropriate.
