I hired Ling for a working interview for a nanny/mother's helper position because I needed help ASAP. He was punctual and very agreeable to the posted job duties (nanny while baby is awake and help me while she naps) and general outline for the day I provided prior to arrival. I spent 45 minutes getting to know him and discussing expectations. He interacted with my daughter during play time for 1 hour with hardly any words, which was a concern given her age and need for communication. He agreed to everything we planned but during nap time he sat down and was on his phone. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that maybe something was going on (given the pandemic). After he made it clear he had no intention of helping me I went to speak to him and found him laying down on my couch, shoes on and feet up playing on his phone. I paid him for the time he was there and asked him to leave. It was one of the strangest interactions I've ever had. Giant waste of my time.
