About Lindsey

Hi! My name is Lindsey, I am a 22yr/o student at UMass and I am looking for a job as a summer sitter. In terms of experience, I have been babysitting since I was 12, and In high school l I worked at a daycare (ages 6mo-5yr) as a Teacher's Assistant for two years. My job consisted of conducting small activities, helping the kids with transitions, teaching children basic manners, social skills and how to deal with emotion, reinforcing good behavior, and deep cleaning the classroom at the end of the day. During my last two years of high school, I sat for my neighbors and watched their 5yr/o every other day after school. I would get her off the bus, make snack, play outside together, craft, and help with homework. After High school, I chose to take a gap year due to covid, and spent the year nannying full-time for a family with a 1yr/o. We would take walks around the neighbor hood, go to the playground etc. I spent this past summer as a nature camp counselor group leader at Drumlin Farm :)
