About Lindsey

Hi! My name is Lindsey. I am seeking a part-time nanny position. I graduated high school last spring and am currently taking a gap year due to Covid-19. I will be starting my education at UMass Amherst next fall. I have worked at a local daycare (ages 6mo-5yr) as a Teacher's Assistant for the last two years and loved every second of it. My job consisted of conducting small activities, helping the kids with transitions (getting changed, going outside, getting ready for nap, etc.), teaching children basic manners and social skills, reinforcing good behavior, teaching how to deal with emotion, playing and reading, and cleaning the classroom at the end of the day. Before working at the daycare, I babysat a 4-year-old girl three days a week after school for a year. I really loved this experience which is why I can't wait to work one-on-one with a few children rather than working in a daycare setting. I would love to work with you to create a fun and safe environment for your kiddos :)
