My approach goes beyond memorization; I focus on building confidence and a genuine love for learning, empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. As a certified teacher with a college degree and two years of experience, I actively listen to students, observe their initial interactions, and tailor my teaching methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate small successes. Open communication is essential, and I provide regular updates to keep parents informed. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence soar. I would love to help your student succeed in math, English, test preparation, art, special education, and study skills. I am CPR and First Aid trained and comfortable tutoring at various locations.
