About Lindsey

For the past 9 years I have worked at an assisted living where my passion for elderly care continues to grow. I believe that being able to care for people as they age is such an important and rewarding gift. I have experience working with people with Alzheimer's and Dementia and enjoy finding ways to make their days successful. I am familiar with proper techniques to assist with transfers from bed to wheelchair or simply sitting to standing. I am skilled in how to prevent falls and how to care for a person if they have fallen. I have worked in multiple departments so I have many ideas based on keeping an elderly person active and stimulated within their limits. I have also worked in maintenance so I am fairly handy and would be willing to help with anything from cooking and cleaning to fixing a toilet and changing light bulbs!
