About Lindsey

Hi! My name is Lindsey and I recently received my masters in education and certification to teach ELA for grades 5-12! I have been working with kids for 7 years, since I was 15, and started with toddlers at the preschool level. I genuinely enjoy working with children and am very invested in their growth. I would consider myself a quiet, patient, and calm sitter, but I am not afraid of a loud environment! I'm a big supporter of being technology free for kids and am happy to generate other forms of tech free entertainment or activities for the kids to do. I like to stay in close communication with the parents and understand their rules and expectations for their child, so I can maintain the order that the parents already have in place. I'm a very communicative person as well so my main method of problem solving will always be through communicating. If I could sum up my service in one word, it would be comfort. I want families to feel comfortable, above everything else.
