I offer you the peace of mind of having an older (but still fun and spunky!) caregiver who knows how to care for your children. I am 38 with two teenage daughters whom I think have permanently bonded to my hips over the years. We do everything together. We love hiking, swimming, playing in the creek, and playing with our menagerie of animals on our little 'farmette.' Both of my girls are in advanced classes and excelling in school. I would love to teach your children (based on your guidelines), as well! I LOVE to cook, have no problem with tidying up, just being a second mom for your family. I have reliable transportation to run your kiddos to the library or sports or the doctor. I have a clean driving record and squeaky clean background check. I ask $20/hr and make it well worth your while for your family and peace of mind that your child(ren) are in the best hands possible while you're away! I have a flexible schedule for the most part. Lindsey was our beloved nanny for a year. She helped with my very intense, higher-needs 6-year-old son and my 4-year-old daughter. She transported my daughter to school reliably. Lindsey formed authentic and deep relationships with our kids. She took them on adventures to see waterfalls, catch frogs, go fishing, and explore nature. She also honed in on their passions and interests and helped them find books about those things at the library or explore in the community. She helped my son practice social skills at the local arcade. She makes the best marshmallowy popcorn and banana bread, and was always offering to make dinner for the family or pick up groceries. We wish we still lived close, but will always cherish our friendship with Lindsey and her kindness and helpfulness to our family!
