Hello, I'm Lindsey! I have a passion for working with the elderly and or those who are limited because of a disability or recovering from surgery. I have about 5 years of past experience working with many elderly people as well as with an 5-year-old boy as his babysitter and in school autistic aide. In the past, I worked as a physical therapy technician at an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy rehab center. My job there as an employee was to encourage the patient to follow their therapist recovery plan, apply modalities, etc. Overall, I was there to make their visit easier and assist the therapist in any way needed, including sometimes aiding in exercises. I have also shadowed an orthopedic surgeon in the operating room. I love to help people heal and feel good about themselves, no matter their age. I believe every day of life is a gift.
