About Lindsey

I am a 31-year-old certified teacher and mom. I have a bachelor's degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Communications, and I have my masters in Elementary Education. I was a lifeguard for 9 years in college. During that time I was in charge of swim lessons for children ages 1-13. I have had a lot of experience caring for kids ages newborn to 12 years old. Activities while caring for children include: participating in stimulating activities, being a positive role model, and nurturing and caring for the child. I have a zoo membership, and a family friendly pool at my housing development which we could utilize during the summer months. I am able to care for your children at your home. I can also tutor your child if they are struggling in any subject in school; I am a certified K-5 teacher, with full training, and extra training hours that are focused on phonics and reading instruction.
