About Lindsay

I am a responsible, caring, fun, and reliable young adult. I recently graduated from Illinois State University and am looking for part-time work. Preferably children with special needs. I majored in Therapeutic Recreation which is a profession that works with people with disabilities and illnesses to increase their quality of life through recreational activities. I have had a variety of different experiences working with different age groups and disabilities/illnesses. My experience includes: being a one-on-one camp counselor at a Special Recreation Association, an Adaptive P. E. Leader at Stevenson High School and an Adaptive P. E. volunteer at a school for children with emotional and behavioral disorders, a Recreation Specialist at Lambs Farm, a Recreation Therapist intern at Rush-Copley Medical Center working with adults in physical rehab, and an activity volunteer at an Alzheimer's home. I love working with children and making a difference in their lives.
