Unreliable and unprofessional throughout the hiring process We considered Lindsay as a replacement caregiver for my sister. During our initial discussions, she explicitly agreed to use a digital messaging platform for our communication, which is a necessity for our family to efficiently share video updates, coordinate care, and manage searchable histories beyond simple text messaging. Based on her agreement to move forward under these terms, I initiated and funded the initial steps of the hiring process at my own expense. Immediately after this was completed, she went back on our agreement regarding communication channels and abruptly withdrew from the process entirely. It is incredibly unprofessional to agree to terms, allow a family to invest financial resources, and then pull out the moment the situation moves forward. I would advise other families to be cautious, as her commitment to the hiring process completely lacked professional follow-through.
