About Lindsay

Hi, I'm Lindsay! I'm a thoughtful and creative person who loves helping kids feel safe, curious, creative and confident. I'm 28 and I come from a science background at NCSU. A recent lay off in the clean energy industry has brought me back to what I enjoy most - spending time with kiddos! Whether we're doing homework, building something out of cardboard, taking neighborhood "nature walks," or just talking about their day, I try to meet kids where they are and help them feel seen. I'm calm, patient, and emotionally attuned, with gentle but consistent boundaries. I value kindness, curiosity, and communication, and I believe childhood should have space for imagination, questions, quiet moments, and laughter. Happy to help with homework, creative projects, meal prep, light house cleaning, and routines. I have my own car, a clean driving history, and I love pets.
