About Linda

Since I began babysitting at age 11, caring for and teaching children of all ages continues to be my passion. I have over 30 years in-home and center-based care experience, as a nanny, preschool teacher and 25 years as director/lead teacher of the San Francisco City Attorney's Infant and Toddler Care Center. I believe meeting the emotional, cognitive, social and physical needs of children is best facilitated through trusting, respectful and nurturing relationships that give them the foundation from which they can safely and freely explore the world. Outdoor play, reading, music, art and simply being present with children fosters their innate curiosity and joy, and provides them with life-long skills and learning. I am creative, responsible, positive and enthusiastic in my approach to children and life, and bring this attitude to everything I do. I am interested in finding a family with whom I can share my expertise, experience and love and make a positive contribution.
