The past 6 yrs I worked as an adult special needs teacher (3 yrs) then a bookkeeper. Prior to that I worked for 2. 5 years at Red Oak ISD faculty preschool. Majority of my time was in the infant room but would sub in most of the classes on occasion. I am seeking part time or full time childcare or house sitting positions. I also worked for a friend for 2 years teaching preschoolers computer classes at various schools in the area. I enjoy walking/strolling outdoors, swimming, reading and working with parents on a good schedule for the children if needed. I have a daughter 33 and my son is 23 and 3 grandchildren ages 11, 9 & 3. I renewed my CPR/1st Aid certificate in Oct. 2024. Clean background on file and references. I am available for short term and weekend positions. Interviewed Linda for a nanny position and found her to be extremely kind, flexible and reasonable. Linda had a crown scheduled the following day and she even called her dentist to move the appointment so she could start immediately as requested. I would have hired her without any reservations except that she lived too far away and we were able to find someone closer. I also really appreciated her following up with me the following day to ensure we had indeed found someone reliable. It is clear from my interactions with Linda that she cares about people and is truly interested in helping families.
