I have had over 25 years experience working with special needs students. I have worked with children with learning disorder, behavior disorder, FAS, ADHD, conduct disorder, and mentally challenged- to name a few. I have worked with adults who have physical limitations at a work activity center. I love working with special needs as they give so much more back to me than I can give to them. I use games, manipulative, and lots of visuals when teaching. I give ample breaks as needed and love teaching children and watching them achieve! I am able to teach and I am competent in reading, writing, and math skills. I also can teach social and behavior skills if needed. I received my BA from Southern Utah University and my Special Education Certification form Weber State University. I have a Utah Teaching License and have passed a fingerprint clearance with the State. I believe my credentials and experience will put you at ease to what I can do for your child.
