I enjoy being with people of all ages. When I worked at a senior care facility while in college, I worked the night shift My favorite part came when it was time to get them up, ready for breakfast and for the day. My goal was always to greet them cheerfully and to get a smile from them to start our day. When I think of caring for seniors now, I still want to make them smile. I want to get to know their life story, what they like and want to do. I want to help wherever I can, be that just listening, driving to appointments or errands and chores around the house if needed. In my spare time, I love to quilt. I have made many for donations, for family members, and a few for myself. Two things you should know about me are that I have 2 cats that are indoor, somewhat spoiled and almost 15 years old. The most important part of my life is my 2 grandchildren. They are in school so I save Sundays for them. I am calm, patient, and easygoing, as well as efficient, tidy and reliable.
