Along with a teaching certificate, I have 20+ years experience working with children. I am a non-smoker and have CPR and First Aid training. I have a sincere passion for fostering growth and nurturing academic development. I am a college graduate, and a certified teacher in elementary and early childhood education. I am also certified as a child development associate (CDA). In addition, I have several years of full-time summer nanny experience. I am able to transport children and I am comfortable with pets. As a mother of four, I am confident caring for multiple children at a time and enforcing household rules. I enjoy educational games as well as playing outdoor sports and activities. My kids both at school and at home would describe me as very active and energetic! Linda was our full time summer nanny for three summers with another family. Our daughter was with her from one year old to three years old. Miss Linda was extraordinary. At the end of every summer, our daughter gained new skills and advanced in her development. Our daughter adored spending her days with Miss Linda doing crafts, dressing up, learning her letters, going on outdoor walks and the many other things Linda did to fill their days with learning and wonder. Linda also provided overnight care while we were on a three day trip away to find our new home. She did a great job managing our daughter’s day and night routines and they had a ton of fun. We miss Linda since we moved away. Our daughter still talks about her to her preschool class. Linda was a great communicator and we never worried while our daughter was in her care. I would highly recommend her to any family.
