Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. With a college degree and 9 years of working in Calvert County school system as a substitute teacher I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students excel in English, History, and Special Education. I cultivate an engaging, patient environment by actively listening to how you interact with new material and encouraging open communication about your preferences. When concepts become challenging, I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement to keep you motivated. I believe clear, open dialogue with parents and students builds the trust necessary for true academic growth. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work.
