I am a Marine wife, mom of 6 & Gigi to 7. I have 11 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in Georgia. I cared for my disabled, sick Dad & grandmother with dementia for 2 years before their passing. My Dad had congestive heart failure, severe lymphedema & respiratory failure & was bed ridden. I am skilled in using a hoyer lift to transfer to a wheelchair & hospital bed, a trapeze, Bi-pap & C-pap machines, oxygen machine/tank, compression boots, taking vitals & help with meds. My grandmother with dementia was challenging some days, but staying calm & patient & just listening went a long way. I am seeking a role as a caregiver because, as difficult as it was at times, it brought so much joy to me to help them keep what independence they had & encourage & support them.
