As for Senior Care, it all started with a dear friend's, sweet, aging mother. I was honored to take on the morning shift of 7-11 a.m. for Virginia who was 80 years old and had increasing dementia over time. Also provided additional care upon request. I cooked breakfast, provided her medications, had Bible study, did Crossword puzzles, sat outside for fresh air, provided grooming, told jokes, discussed her life story, history, took her to medical appts including Urgent Care and provided as needed care and cooking for holidays, etc. In addition, I worked with Kennedy Care and provided Senior Care Services which ran the gamut. I continue to help other Seniors on an as needed basis and always offer cooking and light housekeeping too. Like children, seniors are beautiful people who blossom with excellent care, cooking, kindness and love.
To whom it may concern, I am writing to recommend Linda who served as a part-time caregiver for my elderly mother, who is currently 100 years old. Linda was recommended to me by my mother’s other caregiver. We were grateful to her for recommending Linda as we are hesitant to trust someone we do not know. Linda surpassed our expectations. From the moment she began her role, it was clear that she brought not only professional reliability but also genuine warmth and compassion to her work. Linda was instrumental in enhancing my mother’s quality of life. Beyond her primary responsibilities, she offered invaluable companionship and socialization, which are essential for someone of my mother’s age. She approached her duties with a proactive mindset, consistently tracking subtle changes in my mother’s health and medical status, and reported details to me with accuracy and clarity. She has high-level communication skills. When a few crises arose, she handled them expertly and gave me very detailed accounting. This level of vigilance provided our family with immense peace of mind, knowing that her well-being was in such capable hands. Linda was dependable, timely, and handled a variety of tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a comfortable, supportive environment for my mother. She treated my mother with utmost patience, dignity, and respect. I recommend Linda without reservation to any family seeking a dedicated, observant, and compassionate caregiver. She would be an exceptional asset to any household she supports. Feel free to reach out to me if you require additional information. Sincerely, Laura
