I have years of working with the geriatric population in many different capacities, I am a Medical Assistant. Hospice Care, Palliative Care, including but not limited to my time volunteering with the Alzheimer's Foundation along with taking classes there to further my studies. I moved to AZ to be near my daughter and her new baby, and am looking for Opportunities that aligns with my passion and background working with the geriatric population. I have Amazing References from , NP's ( Nurse Practitioners), as well as a Hospice Nurse I had the pleasure to work with . I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient, & joyful! I started caring for seniors in My Senior year of high school)!! My passion for this population has grown from here. In my spare time, I like to garden, walk my elderly Chocolate Labrador, try new recipes, and most of all , play with my 1-year-old grandson (who keeps me young)! We spent last winter in a condo resort in Mesa Az. I interviewed several caregivers for my wife who has severe Alzheimer’s. I was immediately impressed with Linda who had years of experience as a medical assistant, experience with dementia sufferers, and a very pleasant personality. So, I hired her for my wife. My wife can be difficult especially with caregivers. Linda was very understanding, dealt with all my wife’s medical and behavior issues, and in short order had won my wife’s heart and my trust and somehow was also able to get and keep our little house spotless and clean. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t convince her to leave her adorable grandson and his parents in Mesa and go home with us in the spring. Well, I guess we can’t have everything. But maybe you can have this awesome caregiver for your loved one if you can get her now and not move out of town. F and R
