I have always had a love for the elderly, and therefore did a lot of volunteer work with them over the years. I was a site manager for 156+ elderly tenants in an apartment complex, located in PA. I saw first hand what their needs were, how lonely they were, and how I was able to help them with their needs. I helped them with a variety of things, from paperwork, cooking, a caring ear/shoulder, errands, etc. I loved them and they loved me. Having raised five children, I am extremely capable of many various tasks, and very nurturing. I always invited elderly people to our home for special occasion festivities, as well as just a nice summer day picnic. Just because they are aging does not mean that they have to be forgotten, and mistreated. Also did Respite Care for a blind boy and a mentally challenged boy,
