I have always had a strong desire to help others, especially during challenging times. My passion for caregiving began through caring for family members, which taught me empathy, patience, and meaningful support. I began my professional caregiving career in 2004 and have remained dedicated ever since. I'm trained as a Med-Aid, CNA 1-2, ED Tech, and EKG Tech, and hold CPR and phlebotomy certifications. My experience includes assisted living facilities, adult foster homes, private homes, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and memory care units. I am skilled in medication monitoring and providing compassionate, personalized care. I enjoy preparing nutritious meals for special diets, including diabetic, low-sodium, and low-carb options. I'm known for strong communication, empathy, and building trust with clients and families. Outside of work, I value family, enjoy hiking, gardening, cooking, reading, and volunteering. My goal is to help individuals feel supported, valued, and heard.
