About Limaira

I just absolutely love and adore children. After graduating from UMass Boston with a degree in Human Services, I have been searching for a career in working with children. Before going to college, I was a part of this program called City Year, where I was able to work with third grade students in a classroom helping them with their classwork and homework. It was a great experience and really let me show my skills in working with kids. I also currently work at the YMCA where I work with kids ages starting from a few weeks old to 12 years old. My job is to watch the kids as their parents go and work out, and I just love having fun with the kids playing games, doing crafts, and making them laugh, and I just love this job :) I also have many little cousins in my family and always jump at the opportunity to babysit them when asked. Nothing makes me smile more than seeing smiling children, which is why it is my passion to work with them and spend time with them in general.
