About Lily

I am interested in caring for a young child. I am a patient, energetic, and loving woman with an affinity for babies and young children. I've worked with children in a daycare setting, as well as directed a daycare. I taught elementary school at the first and second grade levels for 7 years, and worked as a Child Abuse Prevention Specialist with a non-profit for the 14 years. I just ended a 6 year position with a family with 4 children. I also raised my own child. I currently teach music classes with an organization. I recognize that when I'm being asked to care for someone's precious child, doing so is my only agenda and I give all my attention to the task. I love to sing with children, read books and get down on the floor and play. Being with children is a passion for me and I would love to care for your child! In addition, I love to cook and am happy to do household chores. In my spare time I throw pottery and spend time in nature.
