Most recently, I cared for two siblings- a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old in Verrado, Buckeye. I am reliable with managing your ideal eat, sleep and play routines and other scheduling factors. I am comfortable with all general infant and child care and transitions from diaper changes to potty training, bottles to big kid cups, purees to solids, etc. I can prepare meals and snacks. I enjoy taking children to the park and spending time outside in nature, even a simple neighborhood can be an adventure! I love playing and engaging kids through toys, books, singing and dancing, etc. Lastly, I speak Spanish and am happy to teach or speak in the language. Lily is phenomenal! She worked with our family for three years caring for our almost 4 year old and 1 year old boys. She is a Guatemalan Mary Poppins. I say this because Lily infuses so much energy, magic and love into everything she does. An ordinary walk becomes an adventure and every morning is her chance to sing joy into the day— She will be sorely missed around here. She is bilingual in English and Spanish- Spanish being her native language. Historically she’s worked in English speaking homes and only spoken English to their children for past families BUT I asked her if she would only speak Spanish to our boys and my 4 year old is now completely fluent in Spanish (we are also bilingual so that was an important factor for us.) In the three years she’s been with us, she’s called out ONCE. She’s extremely reliable. Shes our first and only nanny and we were particular about needing to make sure we found someone who we could trust but she loves kids so much that she made it very easy to do this. I would highly recommend her and hire her again should I have another child.
