About Lily

I'm an internationally certified teacher passionate about unlocking each student's unique potential. For the past three years, I've helped elementary, middle, and high school students excel in English and Math by building their confidence and fostering a love for learning. I actively listen to and observe students, varying my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate small successes. Open communication builds trust among students, parents, and me, allowing for optimal outcomes. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment. I am comfortable tutoring at a student's home, online, a library, or a community center. I'm also CPR and First Aid trained.
