I have 25 years of experience as a CNA. References available upon request (I am new to care. com) I also have first aid/CPR training. I was trained in a nursing home setting but have also performed the same duties in a hospital and personal home setting. The ideal position for me is one where your loved one needs someone to assist with bathing, dressing, toileting and other personal care as well as meal preparation and light housekeeping/laundry for the person I am caring for. I enjoy providing companionship in addition to care assistance. Having a rapport with the person you are caring for is important. It is fulfilling to learn someone's habits and know that I am contributing to their quality of life by helping them maintain their normal routine as much as possible. I enjoy working and am very reliable!
