Hi! My name is Lily. I'm a 22-year-old college student in my first year of grad school at UCLA. I would describe my personality as calm, sweet, and attentive. I enjoy working with kids because I love the way children see the world. I have an effortless and natural rapport with them. I first began working with kids while in high school when I would volunteer in my mother's Special Education classroom. I've also had experiences working with children as a camp counselor, babysitter, as well as in my previous job at the California Science Center. As part of my grad school program I will be starting a practicum placement working with elementary school students this fall. In my spare time, I like to hike, listen to music, read, and spend time with my family and dog! I take whatever task I am given very seriously. I have a reliable mode of transportation and I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I look forward to meeting your family and caring for your children!
Lily has watched my 2 kids many times over the years, starting when they were infants. They're in preschool and elementary now and still ask for her ALL the time. Lily is incredibly sweet and nurturing, very attentive, and was a calming presence in our home. She's tidy and thoughtful and was really a huge support to our family. She's also punctual and trustworthy and just a really good person. We moved to San Diego and don't see her as frequently but anytime we need a sitter in LA, the kids ask for Lily. Any family would be lucky to work with her.
