About Lillian

Lillian is not just amazing, but more than amazing. She worked for me for five years until the start of COVID in 2020. I owe the wellbeing and healthy development of both my sons largely in part to the role Lillian played through a tumultuous time in our lives. I found myself unexpectedly in a divorce with sole custody of my (at the time) 8 and 10 year old boys. With no family in state to help, I urgently needed a part time nanny to cover from time my boys got home from school until I returned from work in evenings. But my situation was more challenging than just that. My older son is autistic and had massive issues adjusting to the divorce, and my ex wife with psychological issues was constantly causing disruption and instability with my boys, and trying to challenge Lillian’s role as nanny. She navigated the disruptions extremely professionally while showing nothing but love to my boys. She did so much more than just watching and interacting with them. She played role of counsellor, cook, caregiver, tutor, and even picked them up from carpool. When my autistic son had meltdowns, she gave him constant love, walks, and talks. She stuck through this for 5 years and I really don’t think there is another human being on earth that could have not just done this, but to have done it in a way that had such a positive impact on my boys.
