About Lila

I have worked with all ages ranging from 2 months to 15-year-olds as well as senior care. I have a liberal arts degree and I am pursuing school in nursing. My first experience with kids was at the YMCA camp Gordyland in Connecticut. I have worked as a nanny for three years and at a preschool. At the preschool I was a floater teacher and would go in every room from infants to pre K. Recently I have been working with a senior living facility as a resident engagement assistant. Which translates to activities assistant. I'd spend all day hearing stories helping individuals through hard days or hard times. Laughs and smiles was an important part of the job but also just listening and being there with no judgement. I have interests in baking, cooking and arts and crafts.
