About Lilah

I enjoy working with children because I feel I am naturally able to create a safe, patient space where they feel heard and supported. I'm very attentive, and good at tuning into kids' needs, even when they're tough to put into words. Or even well before they're able to form them at all! I'm also especially good with special needs or difficult children, as I grew up with a special needs older brother and I'm deeply aware of how important patience, understanding, and empathy is for children (as well as parents!) and how detrimental it is for both the child and the home when they are without it. I have also been trained in CPR and first aid, and have lived with a full time EMT for 6 years, who is always sharing his knowledge with me, and has even earned a lifesaving award for saving a baby's life.
