About Lilah

I'd describe my personality as fun, passionate, and enthusiastic. I'm a huge literature nerd and avid reader. I want to bring this same joy to other people, particularly students who have a hard time connecting with these subjects. I'm looking for a student who wants to improve in a fun, interactive way. Grades are important, but the love of learning is even more so! This is my first time tutoring, but I've worked as a field trip docent at a Nature Center for many years and have given presentations on everything from falconry to pollination. I love working with children! In my free time, I like gardening and writing. I'm a busy student and very outdoorsy. One thing you should know is I'm not just seeking to improve your child's grades, but to leave them with a lifelong love of learning. I'm also Catholic, and though I'm not going to bring this into my lessons, this belief drives everything I do. My skills include reading comp, essay/creative writing, classics, and teaching cursive.
