I used to be a companion in Austria for a lady for 4 years. Before I had kids, I've owned a small elderly care facility , licensed by the county and I had in my care 4 residents 24/7. I've also worked as a caregiver for years after that. Before moving with my family to North Idaho,, I was one of the caregivers of an elderly couple that lived in their own home. Here in North Idaho , I've worked for a senior citizen who lived in his home helping him with different things. Currently , I'm a part time companion for a senior that lives in a facility . If I could leave more stars I would. She is currently caring for our father in memory care. He needs more one on one time than any home can offer. He is a challenge…very active and a busy mind and she has risen to every one of those challenges with grace and care. She monitors his meds, behavior changes, therapy and encourages him to eat, change clothes, shower and daily walks so effortlessly! She engages in games and activities and listens to all of his stories. We started part time and as our needs changed she stepped up and filled them for us. I never imagined I could trust someone so much with my dad but she has taken that stress off my families plate. I could never thank god enough for sending her our way! I highly recommend to anyone seeking help! I could go on and on with her value to our family.
