About Libby

Hello! My name is Libby and I have worked with children most of my life. Children have always encouraged my creativity, and working with them has always been an exciting part of my life. Growing up, I started volunteering in children's ministry and babysitting around 14, but since beginning college I have gained more expertise. During the summer of my sophomore year, I was a camp counselor and watched a group of around 10 children for 8 hours each day. While it was hard work, I loved it. The following year, I was the program head for the same camp and dealt with any behavior issues camp counselors could not handle with campers. I also currently work as a special education paraprofessional in Bozeman School District. I have held this job for over a year and have learned many strategies for working with behaviors in this elementary-aged setting. I am excited to work with a family where I can have fun with the kids while making the load for the parents a bit lighter.
