About Lia

I'd describe my personality as observant, calm, and curious. I enjoy observing the world around me. I like working with kids because I like to be someone they can count on, and get excited to see. Their small minds have endless possibilities, and watching them grow into their own personalities is amazing to me. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to help families in whatever way they need. I am a great cook, baker, love to run errands, and can clean. I started working with kids when a lot of my family members started having kids of their own in the past 5 years. In my spare time, I like to cook, bake, clean, read, and learn ASL! One thing you should know about me is I am deaf! Although this may be new for some, I assure you I am a great communicator! I hope to act as a glass door for your child and allow them to have exposure to people of different backgrounds. My skills include planning and instruction, communication, observation, and creativity.
