Why Do I Love Working with Animals? Handling and connecting with animals has always felt natural for me. From 2017 to 2019, I volunteered over 200 hours at a local shelter, caring for all kinds of pets-each with their own quirks and personalities. I now have two lovely rescues, one ball of energy and a couch potato at home. Animals don't need small talk-they just want kindness, company, and maybe a few treats. I love being that comforting, reliable presence they can trust. I miss my former clients, and I have a lot of love in my heart to give. Lia is responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. She cared for my small farm, three dogs, two cats, and houseplants, too. She cleaned the litter box and scooped poop even though I told her she didn't have to. Every time she passed the ring camera she waved, and daily I received photos and updates on my pets. I've rehired her for two more week long jobs. I know my pets are in good hands with her, thanks again Lia!!
