About Liah

Hi! My name is Liah, and I have experience working with children ages 3-12 in both academic and language development settings. I've provided support in test preparation, speech practice, and English learning, including pronunciation and conversational skills for young learners. The main ages I've tutored have been between 5-9 years old, focusing on core subjects such as reading, writing, and math. Alongside my tutoring work, I've also served as a substitute teacher, gaining valuable experience leading classrooms and adapting lessons to different learning styles. I am currently studying for a master's degree in Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology through a 4+1 program in Health and Family Services. I've also completed college coursework in elementary education and teaching methods, which has strengthened my understanding of child development and effective instructional strategies. I love helping children feel confident and capable as learners.
