About Lia

Hi! My name is Lia, and I'm an aunt of 7 nieces and nephews ranging from 12 years old to 6 months old. I've grown up around babies and children my whole life in and out of my family. I've been the uber, nanny, and taken care of dinner and bedtime even for little ones under 1 year. I like working with kids because they're funny and easy to make laugh! Playing with kids is fun because of their creativity and willingness to be silly. I'm looking for a job that is part time, so I can still run my social media marketing agency on the side. Ideally under 30 hours, no weekends, and within 20 minutes of downtown Forth Worth! In my spare time, I like to travel, go shopping, spend time with my family and , go to concerts! I would say my top 3 babysitting skills are deescalation, entertainment, and cooking! I try to give options, ask what's wrong, or use distraction as tools to deescalate situations when the kids get worked up before reverting to time out!
