About Leyah

Hi! My name is Leyah, and I am an 18-year-old college student with experience caring for children of various ages. Since March, I have worked with a company called ChildCare Careers, primarily in afterschool programs supervising and supporting groups of 20+ children ages 2-12. Through both my professional childcare experience and years of babysitting, I have developed strong skills in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children. I am comfortable helping with meals, light housekeeping, homework assistance, bedtime routines, and age-appropriate activities. I have completed fingerprint background clearance and mandated reporter training, and I prioritize safety, patience, and positive communication with both children and parents. I am dependable, caring, and energetic, and I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and have fun. I am also comfortable around pets and happy to assist with pet care when needed.
