About Lexis

Hello! My name is Lexis. I am currently studying Early Childhood Education. I work as an assistant preschool teacher and part time at my local hospital as a Newborn Hearing Screener. I work with 10 newborns on average per day. I have become very familiar with the care and enjoy every moment. I also serve as a doula for teen moms to ensure they are being advocated for in the birth setting and the transition into motherhood. Previously, I worked with an amazing family caring for their 6-year-old son with special needs and younger daughter. I have gained an abundance of experience working with children among many different age groups. I am moving to Chicago the first of August. I have a living situation already in tact. While I finish my degree online and pursue grad school I want to be able to serve a family.
