Hi, I'm Lexi! I'm a full-time paraprofessional and certified substitute at a therapeutic day school with 5+ years of experience supporting students with special needs, especially those on the autism spectrum and with emotional disturbance (ED). I build strong, trusting relationships and help students manage academic and emotional challenges with patience and empathy. I've worked with all age groups, but I'm especially passionate about teens. I've also led my own classroom as a long-term sub. My caregiving journey began at 13 and includes babysitting experience for adult ESL students and teaching support in a Title I school. I'm CPR/First Aid certified and a trained swimmer with past lifeguard experience. I love outdoor play, creativity, and reading. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and supportive space for every child.
